5. Bajaj Pulsar NS 400
Bajaj Auto has recently been launching a lot of vehicles since the Triumph 400s hit the market. The Chakan-based company plans to unveil the most potent Pulsar to date in the second quarter of 2024.
Meanwhile, a naked streetfighter based on the NS series is in the works. It will sit beneath the D400 and be powered by the same 373 cc liquid-cooled engine as the Dominar 400 and the former 390 Duke.

6. Kawasaki KLX 230
Kawasaki is planning to bring its entry-level road-legal dirt bike to India next year which will be a straight rival of Hero xpule 200. the bike will come with a liquid cool 230 cc engine with 18 bhp.
perhaps this power figure looks very minimal with such mid-size engine and the rest of the bikes in this segment produce more than 22 bhp approximately.

here weight of this bike plays such a crucial role which is only 130 kg curb weight, so power to weight ratio is a big positive factor which giver a powerful punch at any range of rpm.
kawasaki is introducing a new technology, an integrated rear brake fluid reservoir tank which is integrated with the rear swingarm. fuel tank capacity of this bike will be 7 liters to keep the bike’s weight very low.
seat height will be lower than the hero xpluse at 830 mm.
the price of Kawasaki klx will be approximately 3 to 3.3 lacs which is on the premium side as Hero xpulse 200 comes in half of its price.
Triumph speed 400
Bajaj Auto has recently been on a launch speed following the arrival of the Triumph 400s in the market. The Chakan-based company is gearing up to introduce its most powerful Pulsar model yet during the second quarter of 2024.
Additionally, a new naked streetfighter, part of the NS series, is currently under development.
Positioned below the D400, this upcoming model will be equipped with the same 373 cc liquid-cooled engine found in both the Dominar 400 and the previous 390 Duke bikes.
These upcoming bikes will offer enhanced features compared to the existing models with similar engine capacities in the Indian motorcycle market.
Conclusion
This year Indian customers are going to have plenty of option for their 300 to 400 cc segment bikes in all category and it is going to be a very tough competition for Indian and foreign motorcycle brands.
KTM is already providing value for money products in Indian market and this is going to impact prices of rest of bike brands and they have to keep it reasonable.
Recently most of the brands are introducing upgraded generation within same or very minimal price hike from their current prices where they added more features to the new variant or even changed entire look of existing model.
So it is quite possible if customers get a great deal on their new purchase where they pay even less money for new generation model which was sold with little higher amount of money in their previous generation models.
